To create 'Port~Master™':

First, return to the 1st card of this stack.  Press the 'Create It!' button.  Doing so will create the 'Port~Master™' cdev at the desktop level of your startup disk.

Next, exit to the finder. 

Then, move the cdev from the desktop level to the System Folder.  


To use 'Port~Master™':

First, open the control panel and choose 'Port~Master™'.

Choose the port you wish to modify.  Either modem, or printer.

Press the buttons for the settings you wish.  Pressing a button causes the setting to go to the next valid value.

To make the change active, press the 'Set' button.

To abort the change and return to the last saved configuration, press 'Get'.

NOTE:  To make the setting active in the ports, you must reboot the Macintosh.
